Connie first rode with Ulla in a clinic in Wellington Florida in the winter of 2007, since then she knew that she wanted to continue training with her, so she can become a Grand Prix rider.
Now Connie owns Cartier, a young horse that stabled at dressage stable Salzgeber and she plans to go several times a year for training and eventually competing. In the mean time Connie rides Rosen an Oldenburg Stallion by Rubinstein at home in Bogota Colombia with whom she trains the Grand Prix movements; with Rosen they have been members of the Colombian Dressage Team for 7 years, participating in several international competitions.
Connie owns in Bogota a horse farm; there she rides, trains and compete horses in different levels in dressage.

She is an active member of the Dressage Committee for the Colombian Equestrian Federation.

When  Connie is not riding or is not engage in a horse oriented activity, she is involved with her company "Water Plus", that produces and bottled  vitamin water for athletes. She also helps her father as a member of the board of Pisoplex Ltda, a wood floor company.

Connie has a bachelor degree in Agricultural and Animal Business Administration, and she has taken courses in Law.
