Excellent start of competition for Ulla and her 10-years old Rhineland gelding Herzruf's Erbe in Grand Prix: Nearly unimpressed of the famous atmosphere Ulla and her 'Herzi' entered the dressage arena. The couple started the dressage test highly concentrated and they could stand this concentration until the end. With a fault-free, expressive performance with many highlights, perfect flying changes of leg and exactly ridden figures the both made this ride to a highlight of 'Herzi's' competition career. The judges allocated 74.766 % for this magnificent performance. At the end the couple got the 3rd place in this qualifying for the German championship! Ulla was "absolutly happy" and of course very contented with her 'Herzi'! Ulla was also insightfully for her 9-years old Thuringian mare 'Wakana': She was a little distracted by the impressing dressage arena wherefore we were at faults. She is a young horse and has to lern to keep cool in such an impressive atmosphere. But I think, it will be better on Saturday!" Despite the faults the couple still got 68,170% (place 12) and qualified for the Grand Prix Special.
3rd place for Ulla and her 'Herzi' in the Grand Prix Special Ulla and her 'Herzi' showed an impressive, fault-free performance with many highlights and they could repeat their 3rd place of the day before in this test with 75,208%. Ulla at the following press conference (in statements ): „ Ich hoffe, dass es für Herzruf’s Erbe der Beginn einer neuen Laufbahn ist. Ich bin überglücklich, dass es in Balve zu einer Medaille gereicht hat. Für mich zuhause war es ein Ziel unter die ersten Fünf zu kommen, unter die ersten Vier zu kommen ein Traum, unter die ersten Drei zu kommen – daran war eigentlich gar nicht zu denken. Ich denke, Herzruf’s Erbe hat sich an diesem Wochenende ganz gut gezeigt. An den Einerwechseln müssen wir noch ein wenig feilen, aber das gelingt uns von Wochenende zu Wochenende immer besser und ich denke, dass wir auch das mit zunehmendem Alter und konstantem Training in den Griff bekommen werden. /.../ Über einen 3. about a 3rd place in the Grand Prix Freestyle at Sunday." And
she realized this dream! With 'Herzi' she had shown an absolutely harmonious Freestyle! The well-earned result
was 80,100% for this "newcomer" and his "very very happy" rider
and by that result the 3rd place in the German Championship
again!
